This topic is to test and find any problem related to kernel 4.19 on platform ipq806x
There is a PR waiting to be approved and pushed with the required changes to adds support to a normal buildroot

I have been running a couple builds of this since you posted it. No crashes, no reboots, and no issues related to the kernel, as far as I know. It also works with a fully preempt-able kernel.

Just for the record, all fine on the nbg6817 (for the last 12 days) as well (disclaimer, I haven't looked into USB).

I tested this today on the r7500v2.

dmesg

I loaded via an initramfs as this patch set does not expand overlay for the r7500v2. Any other r7500v2 user who might use this patch set coming from master, 18.xx, or 19.xx will have to flash an image via tftp (i.e. do not flash a sysupgrade image) otherwise the router will brick (easily recoverable tho).

Can't test usb this way but cpuidle (both wfi and spc) and tsens look ok to me.
