i have to make a additon. there seem to be indeed a problem with nss in dsa mode if its inuse. luckily i have the nss firmware sourcecodes, but i need some time to get them compiled due the ubicom toolchain which i was not able to get build yet. but i will work on this

Thank you so much! Love that this device still gets some love. Definitely as wireless AP I am still super happy with it. As a router it begins to fall a bit short now with a 1gbps/1gbps connection, but even that's still working. (no traffic shaping)

i also have still 2 of it. mainly as wds bridge for 4k ip cameras. works robust and stable. but especially the xr500 variant is known to have sometimes alot of dead nand sectors which limits the firmware size. beside this no issues
