You will have to compile it yourself or you can use Kong's builds above in the thread.

hey,
someone can give me here the config base to start NSS build, I mean, if I want to do my own diffconfig + NSS stuff, I just want to have the NSS and after that I will add what I want, is it possible?
thanks, I use R7800
but when you update the build, it updated from kong repo, right? Not from the 23.05 repo?

Indeed for nss builds I use kongs nss repo, to compile my build

yep I understand but I meant, there is no update, kong does not many updates I think?
Or you can keep up to date the build from 23.05 snapshot ?

The nss repo is also 23.05 but indeed there are not many updates

OpenWrt ready to flash.
Branch: Main (2024-10-26)
NSS patches downloaded from codelinaro with minor fixes.
Linux: 6.6.58
Restored swconfig.
Full acceleration of WAN, LAN, WIFI and PPPoE (not tested)
Full support for scaling NSS clock from 110Mhz to 800Mhz.
Fast and stable - no random crashes or restarts.

It would be excellent if you have a repo that can be used to build our own customized versions.
And if QAM-256 support can be added too.
Otherwise I intend to test your build.
Thanks for sharing.

At the moment my sources are not ready to be shared.
Any change to settings or adding more NSS drivers will cause the image to fail to build.
I don't have time to update and fix the sources - sorry.
This is my stable configuration - I've been using it without any failures for over 3 months. I only added the Luci interface for you, because I don't need it.
Check it out if you want.
I'll share more sometime or not
I'm waiting for feedback.

That is how the open source works. The work is shared between lots of people devoting their spare time to bring something beautiful to the whole community.
Sharing your current work, it will become even more well reviewed and most probably maintained longer with the mutual work of the devs and the testers.
Thanks to the OpenWrt very smart and generous developers (@quarky @Ansuel @robimarko and currently the most devoted in NSS implementation @qosmio, just to name and credit a few) we have the NSS acceleration completely working on R7800 and newer ipq807x platform (otherwise impossible task considering Qualcomm aloof behavior).
Most of the people here are not afraid from a build failure and they have the will to look for a solution and go ahead. That is exactly how the current ipq807x NSS development goes. With great success for most of the adventurer souls.
I will share my additional thoughts when I test your build.
Just a small initial comment based on your config.buildinfo -
CONFIG_LIBCURL_MBEDTLS=y - personally I think OpenSSL variant would be better. Maybe Wpad-full OpenSSL too. Having WIreguard and OpenVPN is a must today. I have four WG interfaces in my build.
Greetings to everyone.

So it's not possible to get NSS to work with DSA?
Anyone know if it's an impossibility or just nobody tried?

What improvements would we have with DSA? The latest versions of NSS are actually quite stable on this device; the random reboots are finally over for me.

any changes to chromium targets > ? asus onhub one ?

Actually nothing much over switchconfig IMHO. The switch to DSA was triggered by aligning source with upstream Linux kernel tree.
Switchconfig, AFAIK, is an OpenWrt specific patch.

Change to dsa will give us little more performance i belive.
For those using QAM-256 in 2.4GHz 802.11n there is an update to the PR by @daniel.
I don't know if the updated commits are going to work on 23.05 or only on main branch.
I tested ea7500 v1, ea8500 and netgear R7800 with ACwifidude’s @ACwifidude OpenWrt 23.05 for my main rouer,it works with 2 mesh ap router for Wi_Fi network,they are all very stable,never auto_reboot.
only one interesting issue on R7800 The internet download speed is half on one of lan port (either lan2 or lan3)
this also happens on kong's @KONG OpenWrt 23.05
and kong's can't make custom DNS internal sites work
I test many times ,but no lucky
Not sure this is only happen on my build or my ap router compatibility issues
here is the r7800 setting on lan port (same settings on ea7500v1 ea8500)
So by this you mean that if you have 1Gbps WAN on LAN 2 and 3 you can only get 512Mbps down speed, right?
How recent is your Kong build.
I have compiled from Kong's repo 2 days ago but cannot test this right now because I have only remote access to my units at the moment.
But I will test it as soon as I can.
Yes,I have 200Mbps wan,but only get around 90Mbps ,tested on one Wi-FI router.the 2 Wi-FI routers connected on lan 2 and lan 3 ,works with ethernet mesh way.
I build the newest Kong's
