Ipq806x NSS build (Netgear R7800 / TP-Link C2600 / Linksys EA8500)

Thank you, I changed my search a bit and came up with a bugzilla report on RHEL5 stating a solution that I've seen before when it comes to bridging interfaces. It seems these messages appear when bridges are in place:

the solution is to assign a unique MAC to the vif/peth devices

That has been mentioned here too:

If you need to bridge two interfaces that are sharing macs, then don't use the real physical interface, create one through it using kmod-macvlan so you keep those collisions away, and ideally do it on both sides of the vlan so that the real interfaces that are sharing a mac never communicate in a way that would loop like this.

I haven't looked into kmod-macvlan yet, but to me it sounds as if OpenWRT with bridge devices should use this anyway?
