I added it to my repo so the link will not expire anymore ...
@Hostle Thanks!
I have a GL-B3000 unit and would like to try the Snapshot version. Question regarding the flashing of the SNAPSHOT version of the OpenWRT. I have 4.7.2 stock firmware version from GL.iNet. Is it ok to flash the factory image directly as stated here on the instruction: qualcommax: ipq50xx: add support for GL.iNET GL-B3000 by TheRootED24 · Pull Request #17903 · openwrt/openwrt · GitHub
Thanks and much appreciated for the response.
could someone who owns a B3000 run the Wireguard performance test on it, and post the results in A Wireguard comparison DB ?
test setup is described in the 1st post.
TIA
yep, as it says in the instructions ... you can just go ahead and flash it. You can also flash back to oem from luci, if desired.
Snapshot versions lacks of the NSS or it's already being included there too?
NSS will "never" be in OpenWRT/Linux mainline, the code isn't FOSS:ed ...

Does someone have an issue that upgrade does not work? I mean, I'm doing own images base on kernel 6.12, but it seems it starts few weeks ago, that the upgrade just reboot device and nothing more.
Created bug: https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/19266
no problems here.. also, the logs you provided, shows that the upgrade is happening without issue ?? I would check the firmware you are attempting to flash, I think you may have a mix up.
I tested both sysupgrade and factory img on todays snapshot, both work as intended.
Even on 6.12?
i can't say for certain ... i am away from it now. But i do not see anything irregular in the log you posted ?? it seems to be doing everything it should without error.
Is it possible you provided the wrong log ? or perhaps post the image you are trying to flash and I''l give it a go when i get home
I paste correct log. Perfect example: I was using kernel 6.12.34 and now want to move to 6.12.35. After reboot, device have 6.12.34.
Can it be possible, that from stock to openwrt, I did not use gl.inet upgrade page, but u-boot page (it was to 6.12.34), and now from 6.12.34 when I use sysupgrade/upgrade page it does not work?
the sysupgrade is just the default sysupgarde, there is nothing custom about it. And furthermore, it seems to be working fine looking at the log provided. Not to state the obvious but are you certain the image you're flashing has kernel 6.12.35 ??
you mentioned you're building your own images, what do you see in the the output the apk list during make ??
on a side note, the macs seems to be broken again .. are you seeing the same mac on all interfaces ? seems dts macs are not being harvested properly ..again.
where are the custom build images with NSS? can anybody make a new post and have those pinned in the 1st post so it's kept updated there? please
you can just watch/star the repo on github ... GL.iNET-B3000-MARBLE-fit-images
