There's been a lot of ratification in the qualcommax device branch and @Hostle PR has beared the brunt of it, while the Linksys devices that were merged earlier have had it happen afterwards.

Hopefully it gets merged soon but there's a couple of ipq50xx devices I have stopped working on until this PR is merged as it's not fair on any device developer to keep having to reinvent the wheel.

i appreciate your support ... but I am responsible for the delay, i don't put that on anyone. i was simply not prepared ... or prepared as much as i thought i was.

Its been quite a battle I admit. but at the same time I was persistent about a few things that compounded the complexity which lead to more pr's and the discussions pertaining to them ...etc.

I am just happy they devs didn't stick it to the bottom of the pile and give up on me, for all the time I wasted making big changes during the review. But I learned a tonne, sharpened my git skills and learned a lesson of patience The whole experience has been greatly beneficial and increased my respect for the devs and what they have to put up with ..daily 10x.

With that, I happy to report .. just one more review and we're across the line

When it's merged, I'll be looking at the X2000, Unifi Express and the Unifi UXG Lite.

All ipq50xx, all should be fine after what is being done.

I will help you out with x2000 once the b3000 is merged. I have a pretty good idea of what is left to be done with it.

are you pulling from my dev branch .. have you tested it ? I am just aligning it with the b3000 pr and I don't want to break it on you if you're using it. It'll have to be updated in a few spots to play nice with the changes. If its working now than I have a baseline, if you haven't tested I will go ahead and make the changes and we can start from there towards the pr

The dts seems to be incorrect for the x2000 in my dev repo. I am just going to go ahead and make the changes over the next couples days. i will let you know when its ready for testing. I am not sure how i mixed the dts up in dev branch, it is correct in the add_x2000_support branch

@georgem83 This may be a stretch but that fact i am not seeing this nor does @dr-m, I don't think its a GL ..thing, I am pretty sure this is pure coincidence. But could this be setup related ? ..ie mesh seems to be the go to setup for these devices and what most are using. I don't do mesh .. and haven't during development and testing at all. Looking back in the dev thread, myself and a few others provided logs of 30+ days with no or very little sign of the log pollution and or dropping connect…

logs post 14 -21 days or longer if you got them .. especially if you don't see the errors from the discussion. a brief description of your setup accompanying the logs would be handy as well.

i guess that would mean you are running a pr rc1 setup. Glad to hear its working good for you. Just to note. you should revert to stock before upgrading to rc3. Failing to do so will result in softbrick ..in that case just use the same image (rc3) to recover via uboot. Afterwards its standard openwrt upgrade procedures moving forward.

I should point out that you could also just use uboot to upgrade to the newer openwrt files, rather than use uboot to flash back to back to oem ... then back to openwrt.

I haven't seen it, but I am not using the B3000 as AP.
It is a WDS client connecting to another Openwrt running WDS AP.
I am seeing some :unknown event 37" occasionally in the logs, when it is doing the rekeying.

Interesting. I have a feeling its a "mesh" thing. Most people seeing this error seem to be running a mesh. I don't see it either, i am running wireless 5g sta + 5g ap and 2.4g ap. Nothing in my logs but pure good news

good stuff. I have started on the dts, there is a lot of work to be done there. Also the bdfs need to be unpacked and repacked with just one board entry (currently there is 5 or 6 .. 600kb & 720kb..they should be ~131.1kb each). I should have it ready for testing in a few days.
