What would be the correct naming?
Qualcomm IPQ4018
Qualcomm Atheros IPQ4018
On https://www.qualcomm.com/products/ipq4018 I find
IPQ4018 is a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., and/or its subsidiaries.
On the chip there is the Qualcomm logo (Q in a square).
IMO it should be Qualcomm IPQ4018. What do you think?

I was open link and it should be 1. Because there isn't Atheros anywhere on page.

They still refer to Atheros at least in the brief, see: https://www.qualcomm.com/media/documents/files/ipq40x8-ipq40x9-product-brief.pdf , but I think all IPQ series should be called now Qualcomm only.

Am I wrong or atheros has been brought by QCOM?
Yes, Atheros was bought by Qualcomm in 2011.
They referred to stuff Atheros developed before Qualcomm acquisition as Qualcomm Atheros and newer stuff as Qualcomm only.

following this logic ipq4018 has been developed by atheros so before 2011 and ipq8064?
Well that period is a bit vague as even Qualcomm mixed the terms.
It was most likely started by Atheros

"Atheros" brings some continuity and tradition there.
And the related ath10k firmware files are named as QCAxxxx ...
https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/ath10k
ath10k is the mac80211 wireless driver for Qualcom Atheros QCA988x family of chips
Sure, wifi chips are separate from the SoC, but same generation, same family
