Iopsys EG400 - possible to run up to date OpenWrt?

I mean running juci on 80 and luci on 8080 for example...

Hi.
I really disliked using the router as a "user" without access to many other features. I really needed to have access to the VPN settings in the router. The Internet provider refused to give me access to these settings. I used attached link to download unlocked firmware, now I have "admin" access. Im really happy, I set up the Internet, VPN, but I can't find the QoS function. What could be the problem? Please advise!

Peoples PLEASE! Did somebody have an another firmware. QoS function is very imported for me.

Not going to happen, that's Broadcom in a nutshell for you.

Ok. I have got the second router but with original firmware in this time. With admin access from the box. I mean not from some internet provider where is a only user access. Is it some way to take out this firmware from device?

I am currently using the EG400-AC for my Homenetwork. I can do small "mods" on it and am fine with it for now.

I am using another Router - which I flashed to OpenWrt - via the WAN-Port as my Internet-source and done...

For other stuff (SMB, etc.) I use another OpenWrt'd router.

I would LOVE to have it all in one, but I can live with that for now.

Is someone still active with this and wants to continue the OpenWrt efforts?

I have an EG400-R1 with firmware EG400-X-GNX-4.3.6.120-R-210930_1251.y3 (downloaded in 2022) from Genexis (so no IPS-version) used as an access point.

This is not a fine wine, it doesn't get any better with age.
