Interface needs to be manually restart

I use my router as a WiFi to ethernet bridge (AP hotspot -> OpenWRT Router -> Ethernet swtich) and I notice that frequently the connection stops.
I have to manually restart the wwan interface on the interfaces tab, and it appears as if the AP to which I'm connected to is connected properly with a good signal strength.

How can I automate the process? (crontab?)
or even more easily, is there an option that restarts the interface when such case happens?
