Installing QoS for Tp-Link C6U RU

This router uses MediaTek MT7621DAT, am I right I need to install QoS from this repository: ?

Arch is ipsel_24kc.

TP-Link C6U V1

Why won't you install it via the web gui?

The luci part will only get you the web config, not the actual functionality.

I'm installing it via web gui, but I need to write repository in OPKG Configurator

It should already be there ?

Did you forget do hit update ?

They were there, but when I was trying to update lists I was getting errors

Then that's the issue you should look into 1st.

src/gz openwrt_core
src/gz openwrt_base
src/gz openwrt_freifunk
src/gz openwrt_luci
src/gz openwrt_packages
src/gz openwrt_routing
src/gz openwrt_telephony

anything wrong here?

Assuming you're using a snapshot, don't think so.

Is it good if I download QoS from the link you sent and install it via uploading in web gui?

But why ?

Why not use webui ?

I can't configure opkg

I tried to install manually by uploading file but also getting errors

Checked if the date is correct on the device ?

it's correct

Your picture is showing 18.06, are you using the TP-Link stock fw ?

If not, you should have upgraded a long time ago.

I'm using custom fw from 4pda (was created in 2021), because official openwrt only supports EU router but I have russian

We cannot know what chages this firmware has in addition to standard OpenWrt. You'll have to ask them for support.

What's the difference between the russian version and european?

It appears you are using firmware that is not from the official OpenWrt project.

When using forks/offshoots/vendor-specific builds that are "based on OpenWrt", there may be many differences compared to the official versions (hosted by Some of these customizations may fundamentally change the way that OpenWrt works. You might need help from people with specific/specialized knowledge about the firmware you are using, so it is possible that advice you get here may not be useful.

You may find that the best options are:

  1. Install an official version of OpenWrt, if your device is supported (see
  2. Ask for help from the maintainer(s) or user community of the specific firmware that you are using.
  3. Provide the source code for the firmware so that users on this forum can understand how your firmware works (OpenWrt forum users are volunteers, so somebody might look at the code if they have time and are interested in your issue).

If you believe that this specific issue is common to generic/official OpenWrt and/or the maintainers of your build have indicated as such, please feel free to clarify.
