on mounted network share ?

I think that you might want to look at extroot, if your device has USB/SD Card. Depending on your device specs, you should read the 4/32 Warning (if it has only 32 MB of RAM, memory exhaustion will make your router crash).

router is TL-WR1043NDv2, it has 64mb ram and usb,
i'll try an extroot.
