Hello, is there a way to use openwrt on the tp-link TL-WA860RE(EU) Ver:6.0 ?
Where you would download firmware upgrade for the device?
The ancestry does not look very good.
https://oldwiki.archive.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wa850re
so there is no firmware upgrade?
https://www.tp-link.com/nl/support/download/tl-wa860re/#Firmware
Based on minuscule firmware size device has 2MB or 4MB flash, which does not have enough space for 5-6MB current OpenWRT
No wonder tp-link does not run linux there....

is there something other than openwrt that I can install on it?
Nope, not even dd-wrt is keen to add support for new 4MB flash devices.
is there something else I can use it for? Except for using it normally
Nope, you are stuck with what you have.
Ok thank you for all the help
