I'm having problems with installation of openWRT on my old TG784n modem/router.
I've installed the CFE cfe6358-nvr.bin and then flashed the latest version using the red WAN port from here openwrt-21.02.3-bcm63xx-generic-bt_home-hub-2-a-squashfs-cfe.bin
After I boot the router I have no ethernet (or wifi) connection.
I can log using the serial pins on the board and I can see that it fails here:
Failed to connect to the switch. Use the "list" command to see which switches are available.
There is no output when I run 'swconfig list'.
I've searched the internet for this, but all that I can find is very old.
In some pages I found that I need to change some DTS files, but I cannot find them on the github.
I also found that I need to compile the CFE with 'ENET_USE_EMAC1', but it seems that the CFE is working fine.
Can someone point me to the solution ?
I just wanted to give some new life to my old router.
Thank you for your time.
