i follow instruction here https://openwrt.org/toh/xiaomi/nano
but i dont know the different between "your_admin_pass" & "newPwd=desired_root_pass"
i think, i have only 1 password????

Are you trying to change your password, to do that you need to verify your old password your_admin_pass and provide the new password desired_root_pass
