Install openwrt on a TP-Link Archer c6 v2 with the latest frimware from TP-Link

Hello everyone, this is my first time in this forum and I would like to bring a TP-link Archer C6 V2 with the last current firmware version of TP-Link to the 23.05. Is there any experience if there are problems when you want to import the 23.05 via the TP-Link interface. The current firmware of TP-Link is version 1.3.7 there is no information about this on the OpenWRT page. With thanks in advance RioE

Try to downgrade?

Hi Thanks for the suggestion to downgrade the current firmware of TP-link, I think I mean right?

Is this the US version? Mine was at the latest OEM firmware this year, and it flashed via the web interface just fine.

Hello thanks for the info. I have the EU version. Was your's the US or the EU version where it worked. Sincerely, RioE

The list is filled by people who tried. If you can downgrade to version your router was shipped from factory and it is already tried by somebody you will have less adventure ahead.

US, but you can just try to flash the factory image via the web interface, if the web interface doesn't accept it, it will just give you an invalid image error, you won't be bricking your device.

Thanks again

Hello short question. Do you have a link to the old firmware versions. I can't find anything at TPlink sites . Very likely I didn't ask the correct questions for Google either.
