Install openwrt on a DWR-960 B1

Hi all, I have a d-link DWR-960 HW B1. I've found this thread[¹], there is no way to install OpenWRT, isn't it?

What you can try out without opening the case:

  • set up tftp recovery and reinstall to same OEM firmware ins%alled
  • examine oem boot logs looking for ram, flash layout, soc type, wifi card, 4g modem type
  • dont flash anything openwrt assuming device is similar to other revision, it might be new 4g modem, wifi chip,(easy to add possible dupport) half flash or change to unsupported/-able soc.
