Install on old pc

Hi All,
I'm in trouble after installed into an old pc. I explain better.. I copied this on a disk and added kernel modules for e1000 nics. I can log in by web interface and ssh but in the console I have not prompt.
System in actived because if I add or remove a pendrive some rows are written on to the screen.

The silly thing is if I boot from a stick with the same image on my more recent laptop all is ok.
I thing i missing something..

Any hints??

Hi All,
I solved using an old PS/2 keyboard.
It Is curious when kernel is loaded the usb keyboard is not working anymore.
