Inconsistent Criteria for new ToH Entries

I wanted to add some switch pages to make it easier to track all the different stages of interest / support from the various forum threads and the mega thread.

While the documentation states

If you can neither demonstrate Alternative #1 nor Alternative #2: Do not add the device to the ToH.
Alternative 1: Interest available
Alternative 2: Already supported or serious efforts to get OpenWrt running on the device (one of them is sufficient)

The actual creation form states

Not yet supported
Unsupported devices can not be added to the ToH. Please come back when the device is supported.

Which one is correct? And how can they be brought in sync?

Thanks, I'm already looking over there.

The switch view on the table of hardware asks for help transfering the entries from svanheule's wiki to the ToH over here.

n.b. Not all supported switches have ToH entries yet. Some developer info can be found at https://svanheule.net/switches/start - please help by adding device entries - see Help maintain this page below...

So I followed the links on how to do that. That's how I landed on the criteria page.

But now I see the original request was only for adding supported switches, so I guess the page may be outdated.
