If build OpenWrt with root?

Do everything as a normal user: do not log in as root and do not use sudo.

i want to know if i build with root user, what's different?

should theoretically work fine after you remove the root check, the issue is that if something breaks during build you risk hosing the system (because it is running as root so it can delete system files).
Why you want to run the build as root? You like living dangerously?
