Can you add lspci from this adapter?
I'd guess towards kmod-8139too if looking at manufacturers driver pack.

Love the laptops (and spelling errors) they put in the same sheet, despite it being a PCI card

Yes. I didn't find it in the openwrt driver search engine. But I did find the drivers on the TP Link page. But I don't know if it works.
