I installed the first openwrt-24 .trx firmware on the router from the official guide and my wifi network splitted from one 2+5 to two different networks 2 and 5 Hz and password changed itself so i don't know it anymore. Then i plugged the router with a cord and tried to install the next .bin file and something went wrong, the router doesn't update. The firmware downloads and nothing happens, recovery mode didn't go away. I tried another version too and it did't help so i don't know what to do now. I couldn't download the video here and gif is too heavy so here's a link with my problem https://youtu.be/HEO0iqsk9oM?si=489C7rwwxEUi3vTb
I see in the video - you are half-way into install.
Use other browser, looks like edge baby safety shield.
Try another browser.
Your video seem to show the sysupgrade file fail to upload. It's apparent by the progress bar closing before it reaches 100%. It also seems to be behaving very slowly.
Thank you. I tried browser edge, choosed the firmware and it got endless donloading. After 30 minutes i tried to refresh the page and got the firmware but now all the networks disappeared there is only sign in the openwrt menu that says "ssid: openwrt. Mode: master. Wireless is disabled". What should i do now?
Your descriptions are not clear.
Can you please tell us specifically what address you navigated to here:
What did you do after you got the firmware?
Yes, sorry. I navigated to 192.168.1.1 in edge (I used vivaldi before). There was a recovery mode. I choosed openwrt-24 firmware and started to flash but it stacked in the endless downloading. Thet i decided to refresh the page and firmware installed but all the wifi networks gone (as i said before, they somehow splitted previously). Now i only able to connect to router with lan and there's a sign on the general openwrt page that says wireless disabled. Then i reeboted router in the openwrt menu and with button, that's all. It didn't help
You seem to be using odd terminology, but from your description it seems the upgrade was successful. Although it appears you flashed the firmware without saving settings.
Everything you're describing sounds like normal behavior.
Did you enable the WiFi?
It's not clear what issue your having now?
OpenWrt's "recovery mode" (called 'failsafe mode') doesn't have a web interface. It seems that you may have ended up in the vendor's recovery mode and then flashed OpenWrt from there. That would have reset all the configurations and you'll be back to a standard default OpenWrt config.
Do NOT flash over WIFI!
All of your questions are answered in the wiki.
I meant intrafms mode from video
Thank you, it helped but now I don't have internet connection. Sorry if my questions are stupid, I'm noob here and it's difficult to understand anything. I have the openwrt router connected from the wan to the lan port of another router with internet connection and I can't find out why openwrt doesn't have internet. I read the wiki but couldn't set up it right
From the install guide.
The router will reboot, and you will be able to access the OpenWRT initramfs firmware via http://192.168.1.1.
Flash the router again, using the sysupgrade image in the table above, make sure to uncheck the keep settings checkbox.
Installation is completed, once the router comes back online after the reboot.
You can also sysupgrade via ssh.
Now I'm on this stage: I succesfully edited wifi settings but still have no internet connection. I have a general working router without any custom firmwares to which i connected the openwrt router (from lan to wan). As i understad it, i should change the ipv4 adress in the lan menu but I'm not sure. I made another video where I showed my wifi and lan settings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4X0GBBHEy4
please just post your configs directly... videos are very hard to work with.
Please connect to your OpenWrt device using ssh and copy the output of the following commands and post it here using the "Preformatted text </> " button (red circle; this works best in the 'Markdown' composer view in the blue oval):

Did you succeed to sysupgrade to settings persistence?

Yes, I did it.
You omitted the following:
Why? If this is a router/modem combo, disable the networking on it. There should be a "bridge" mode.
There is a good chance both routers are 192.168.1.0/24 now and this is your reason for internet issues.
