I fucked up the u-boot I think, plugged the serial, it's in a boot loop. I installed this modded u-boot and tried to write it with:
mtd -r write /tmp/u-boot.bin u-boot
I thought v4 and v5 were almost the same. I checked the specs all look the same to me. But maybe OC didn't work.
How to rewrite u-boot again? I backed up the original u-boot.
Here I am at serial:
If it can't be written via uboot itself, tftboot/bootm the initramfs (it's the kernel link) from https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/, then write it through there.
Actually I bricked the device completely I have written to the second partition, I think u-boot, first was factory uboot thing. What is a factory uboot anyway? Should I have written there instead? Anyway, no way to bring it back now. Serial shows nothing.
