Hello my dears. I need your help one day, I've bought a HW-C108. Unfortunately, I then installed the latest OpenWrt update and now some things no longer work.
The version that was installed before was a 14.07 image. Has anyone of you the original firmware that was installed after delivery? So that I can get the router working again that would be great.
There was no support for that device in 14.07, so if your old firmware declared itself to be of that version, it wasn't OpenWrt but either an OpenWrt based OEM firmware (most likely) or some private build - we can't help you with either of those, but current OpenWrt should work.
One more question, I currently have no internet connection with the router. Where can I find the add-ons I need to download? Would this then pack it into / tmp via WinScp and install it from there.
Since the required packages have their own dependencies you will have to identify and manually install those dependencies. This will greatly simplify the process if you give the router access to the Internet.

I spent some time to write an elaborate reply to your questions with detailed hints. How is your luck with those? The attachments mentioned I can send as soon as I have an email address. The forum rejects them.
PS.: The reply that I mentioned I wrote as an email replying to what I thought was a personal email question. This is unfortunate as I was attaching some files that the forum software acting as a relay rejected. I really wished the forum software made it in email more obvious that replies would go public. The only hints are in HTML and pictures, the display of which is switched off by privacy and security aware people like me.
