Huawei e3372h and TP-Link TL-WR902AC

How can i setup huawei e3372h LTE usb modem with TP-Link TL-WR902AC v3?
I tried Rooter firmware and it detected the LTE modem without issues.
Also i do have to manually download the packages because no wan connection - LTE not working.

Currently running:
[Powered by LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-19.170.32094-4d6d8bc)
OpenWrt 18.06.4 r7808-ef686b7292

I tried installing all those packages:
kmod-mii_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-net-cdc-ether_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-net-cdc-ncm_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-net-huawei-cdc-ncm_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-net-qmi-wwan_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-net_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-serial-option_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-serial-wwan_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-serial_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
kmod-usb-wdm_4.14.131-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
uqmi_2019-06-27-1965c713-7_mipsel_24kc.ipk

Using "sudo uqmi -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --get-data-status" does not give anything.

This modem is not QMI.
I suggest to keep using ROOter firmware and change your modem firmware if you're currently on 22.X HiLink version.

This modem is alreayd in stick mode, it is not in HiLink version.

I've written-up some instructions here:

Hilink firmware works perfectly, it just requires usbmodeswitch and cdc-ether packages. Stick firmware requires number of packages, and I haven't managed to run it manually, it was running only in Padavan or ROOter.

Hello,
are there updated instructions about these two products?
The link in Huawei e3372h and TP-Link TL-WR902AC - #4 by tectonic is not longer exists

If your modem modification is not -320, then switch it from HiLink to Stick mode by changing modem firmware and use router firmware optimized for modems, Huawei e3372h and TP-Link TL-WR902AC - #2 by AndrewZ

What if I have a - 320 device? I can't get it to work with my TL-WR902AC (stock firmware for now, don't know if I NEED OpenWRT yet), and I'd like to know how... You specified non 320 so I thought you might know more...

You should be able to use it as an additional router with NAT as described here: rain4G double NAT bypass and/or tunnel

My understanding it is not possible to switch it to NCM ("stick") mode that is more suitable for OpenWrt.
