Huasifei WH3000 pro firmware openwrt

Hi guys to follow up to the previous post I contacted the technical support of the manufacturer and already the problem was solved by uboot mode and now the router works so I want to convert it to openwrt with modem support I use a seriia EM7455 DW5811e modem
@psherman @frollic

the link you received in your last thread still applies for firmware installation.

the modem support is something else - Sierra Wireless EM7455 no Internet connection.

keep in mind there are two versions of the WH3000, NAND and eMMC, install the correct image (if it's not the same one for both).

I'm trying to merge the modem definition with system 1 openwrt means build version I don't understand download commands and the like

I have no idea what this means.

those packages can be installed via the webUI too, but if you run into issues, you will have to switch to cli/ssh.

The version I have is EMCC and not NAND

Can I use these definitions that the AI has sent
kmod-usb-net-cdc-mbim kmod-usb-net-qmi-wwan kmod-usb-serial-option kmod-usb-serial-wwan kmod-usb-serial-qualcomm kmod-usb-serial-sierrawireless usb-modeswitch usbutils picocom

it's your device, you can do whatever you want.

or you could simply follow the guide linked to in the 1st post in the thread I posted.

I followed that guide already and now it works with the official OpenWRT system, but I am still facing a problem in downloading the modem definitions or what is related to it, as well as adjusting it, if the ready-made version of OpenWRT knows the modem definitions, please share it here.

the device, or the modem ?

definitions ?

there isn't.

I prefer to find a ready version that shows all modem definitions and settings

cool, see you back in .... never.

The router now runs on the official OpenWRT version, but a raw version doesn't even have the modem option or anything related to it.

See above:

My brother modem is now working in the ROOter project system this means that it is unlocked as well as recognizes my sim card but there is no internet available I have installed openwrt now and I am trying to run the modem now via openwrt

@yuoiew3 Can you help me with this? You've already encountered the problem, how was it solved?

the answer is in the thread you apparently skipped ?

Did you review the link posted [twice]?

(BTW, the user you tagged last posted over a year ago.)

I am afraid, I haven't used both OpenWrt and the modem since then. Everything should be in the topic above.

For the modem, try installing wwand - maybe it will just pick it up.
