I login to https://openwrt.lan/ with brave. But https in address line is crossed out.
I don’t see clear description if this is the problem with certificate or https connection is not working. Firefox clearly states that the problem is with certificate. How to know is this certificate or https connection problem.
Unless you installed a proper cert, the router would have generated a self signed cert, it wouldn't/shouldn't be trusted by any browser.
You can also click on the pad lock next to the URL to see the status of the cert.

It's normal behavior that a device generates or uses some self-signed certificate - unless you wish to assign a proper FQDN and [for some unknown reasons] take time to purchase [or configure a free] public certificate.
This HTTPS behavior is common on any device that offers secure access and browsing of the web GUI, not just OpenWrt.
