Httpd fails to redirect to https - Openwrt 24.10

Hello,

I thought it was worth mentioning that on a new install of Openwrt 24.10 in LUCI menu:

/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/admin

the setting "redirect to https" does not redirect to an https address, nor does adding the https precursor in the server address redirect to the server; it is unreachable except in http only.

A work around for this was to install the package "px5g-standalone" or to pre-build with the added package to restore the feature.

px5g-mbedtls is included by default

Ahh it is included with the Factory image, but once I go to customize my installed packages, it seems to be missing.

Raspberry Pi 4B/400/CM4 (64bit)
24.10.0

I will just add it when I do my next build.

I'm not sure if it is meant to be present in the base files, if it is an add-on package or if it's something else.

I'm curious now; is the custom package list that's present with the 24.10.0 build current? or is it carried over from the 23.05.5 list?

base-files bcm27xx-gpu-fw bcm27xx-utils ca-bundle dnsmasq dropbear e2fsprogs firewall4 fstools kmod-fs-vfat kmod-nft-offload kmod-nls-cp437 kmod-nls-iso8859-1 kmod-sound-arm-bcm2835 kmod-sound-core kmod-usb-hid libc libgcc libustream-mbedtls logd mkf2fs mtd netifd nftables odhcp6c odhcpd-ipv6only opkg partx-utils ppp ppp-mod-pppoe procd-ujail uci uclient-fetch urandom-seed cypress-firmware-43455-sdio brcmfmac-nvram-43455-sdio kmod-brcmfmac wpad-basic-mbedtls kmod-usb-net-lan78xx kmod-r8169 iwinfo luci

The default package selection doesn't include SSL for Luci as far as I'm aware. I usually add the luci-ssl package which includes components required for SSL including px5g
