How to verify Adblock is working?

So I installed adblock and httpsoverdns along with there ui

But the dns is still used as Google dns also the adblock does not shows which ads are blocked how do I verify?

Make sure your DNS is actually used...

Try: https://ads-blocker.com/testing/

Also, you could use tcpdump to see the NXDOMAIN replies.
