How to use openwrt to passthrough wifi client access directly to ethernet

Hi all,

I want to use openwrt to passthrough wifi client access directly to a device connected via ethernet. I currently have openwrt connected as a client but cannot figure out how to configure openwrt to passthrough this connection. Any help is appreciated!

Maybe you are looking at what is called an Access Point.

Sorry, but this guide is not working for me. I'm not trying to create a wireless network but join an existing one with openwrt and then passthrough that connection to a device connected via ethernet. This device connected via ethernet is basically connected to the wifi network through the ethernet connection

Ok, in that case you are looking for relay or WDS. I have tested both and find that WDS works better, but that may be related to hardware.
