How to use adblock with a custom DNS?

I am using the main adblock package on my router and it works well. I want to use Quad 9 as my upstream DNS but I can't figure out how.

Upstream DNS servers are set on the WAN interface:
Network > Interfaces >WAN > Advanced Settings

Make sure to uncheck' Use DNS servers advertised by peer'

Do not set DNS servers any place else.
