I have OpenWRT 24.10.2 installed on a Netgear Orbi SRR60 with AdGuard Home installed and working.
The AGH web front end informs me I have “Version:
0.107.57” installed.
When I look in:
for my Netgear Orbi architecture, I see adguardhome-0.107.67-r1.apk is available.
How can I upgrade my AGH to v.0.107.67 ??
When I SSH in & run opkg install adguardhome it informs me:
root@Orbi:~# opkg install adguardhome
Package adguardhome (0.107.57-r1) installed in root is up to date.
and won't upgrade AdGuardHome.
Is there a way to upgrade AGH without breaking anything?
snapshots aren't using the same package manager as stable, packages aren't interchangeable.
if you want the newer version, the easiest way is to install a snapshot image.
you can probably unpack it manually, do some copying and so on, but you're on your own.
apk has replaced opkg in main branch SNAPSHOT builds
The apk switchover is an ongoing process, and still has several issues to resolve. If you do not wish to deal with the issues inherent in bleeding edge snapshots, then it is strongly suggested that you move to the 24.10 branch, the latest -rc is your best bet (check here https://downloads.openwrt.org/ ).
@ynezz has graciously copied out the contents of the cheatsheet and put it in the wiki for all to edit. It is ready for you (yes, you) …
