You need a router/server with a dual stack connection otherwise you can not cross from ip4 island to ip6 island.
Do you have access to a site with a dual stack ISP connection?
If so, placing a Tailscale Exit Node on that site would allow a connection to the iPv4 site.
Tailscale Client iPv6 <---> Dual Stack ISP Tailscale Exit Node <-----> IPv4
Edit:
It is also possible to do this via the DERP Servers which are dual stack.
Tailscale Client iPv6 <---> IPv4 only ISP Tailscale Exit Node <-----> IPv4
Okay that's clear, i will try it
Hi,
i tested some further with the application and tailscale installed, it looks like the application can access the webserver on the IPV4 address correctly but get's an TLSv1.2 handshake error when using the IPV6 only WAN gateway. when i use our glassfiber gateway with IPV4 access then it's working fine.
I have below screenshots of Wireshark, how can i fix the TLSv1.2 error?
With IPV6 only WAN gateway(OpenWRT), 464XCLAT and tailscale installed:
With IPV4 Wan gateway Glassfiber:
Have you only installed Tailscale on the RPi CM4?
No i installed it on both.
It looks like i fixed it by changing the MTU of the 464xCLAT to 1500.
When installing the 464xCLAT component, it sets the MTU to 16384. that's the reason i figure out that TLSv1.2 handschake failed.
Now the application is working fine and can access the IPV4 endpoint doing POST en GET requests.
Thanks for your help.
