How to run openwrt from RAM without official supported

Can I run openwrt on the RAM of an access point that cannot yet be supported openwrt offically? If this is possible, is it possible to run it from the RAM in an access point with bradcom chipset? I need to access cat /proc/mtd

Boot an initramfs.

But the wifi of a Broadcom based device will be pretty crappy.
Obviously you don't need wifi for accessing the mtd.

Do you know which initramfs should be use for aruba 505?

For mtd access, something with the same SoC.
Trial and error.
