How to portforward for gameranger?

So far what I've done

is there a public IP sitting on your WAN port ?
and is Windows (I'd assume) firewall allowing connections ?

Can I know what you mean if a public IP is sitting on my WAN port?

and yes windows is allowing connections

If you go to some whatsmyip site, does it show the same IP, as the router shows on the wan port?

To double check, install netcat/nc on the router and try to connect to your gameranger port on the PC from it, as described in https://www.tecmint.com/check-remote-port-in-linux/, but add the -u switch for UDP mode.
