How to keep OpenWrt running when closing the laptop screen?

I installed OpenWrt on an old laptop, but the router stops working when I close the laptop screen. Please help, how can I keep the laptop running after closing the screen?

Well this most likely to be a BIOS/UEFI setting but not OpenWrt I guess?

If not in bios power settings you probably need to look for a apci setting/config in openwrt.
