Unlikely to be able to run OpenWrt as it looks like a USB wireless device (of mediocre performance, at that).

Do you want to run OpenWrt on the device, or do you want to plug the device on a router running OpenWrt?
The second
rt2800usb has no support for powersaving clients (firmware limitations), which makes it a bad choice for an AP interface.
