How to debug low wifi-AP to wifi-Client throughput?

Hi,
Im running a usb ralink as a wifi-client (my W-ISP lets say) and another usb ralink as a AP on the bright (together with an currently unused ethernet.

How do I debug very slow routing speeds? 1Mbit for example. I was expecting around 10-25mbit (30 something is the theoretical max I think for these cards).
CPU and IO seems almost zero.
Its a rPi 3 64bit (zero 2).

How do I debug this?
