How to debrick miwifi 3G using serial and tftp

Hi,

I bricked my xiaomi miwifi 3g while upgrading to OpenWRT.

I managed to establish a serial connection and I find that the unit is locked in an endless restart.
When booting the router crashes on the line:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknow-block (0,0)

I think I have to flash the kernel0.bin file to restart the machine.

According to the wiki, the procedure is as follows:

Use this if failsafe etc fail ..

You need

usb 3.3v to serial adapter
tftp server (mostly on 192.168.31.100)
kernel0.bin (https://mega.nz/#!PI0VUKhA!OVoBm8rj6m9mMrpKfRDPzXEldGN8VzG8lLpjoMU9s3A)
stock firmware (http://bigota.miwifi.com/xiaoqiang/rom/r3g/miwifi_r3g_firmware_c2175_2.25.122.bin) renamed to miwifi.bin on fat32 formatted usb stick

To debrick

Access serial console (use 3.3v) and terminal emulator such as putty
Flash the kernel0.bin file using option 2 flash using TFTP option in the U-Boot menu. Note: when selecting the boot source (for flashing), it may be necessary to terminate the line.
Connect usb stick press reset button and router will flash itself with stock firmware. The progress will be shown in the serial console.
You can re-install openwrt as per original procedure

I'm coming to you because I think I have bricked my router trying to install an update of openwrt.

Now the router reboots in a loop.
I have console access through the UART.
After a lot of DIY I have access to a busybox console but the router does not start completely despite the presence of the blue led.

Are you saying that the serial input/output has an issue?

Your device appears fully booted up - I don't see a boot loop.

actually there is no more bootloop but there is an error in the log file:

You are running the initramdisk version of OpenWrt. Normally, this is used one time to change from factory firmware to the OpenWrt system so you can use sysupgrade to write an actual usable OpenWrt image to the flash.

The initramdisk does not store any settings in flash, so it can't be used for actual use. It is used to run one time to write the regular sysupgrade image into flash. The sysupgrade image contains a formatted ubi filesystem which will be copied into the flash, which will get rid of the missing UBI magic error and allow the filesystem to mount.

Download the sysupgrade OpenWrt to your PC so you will have it when you disconnect the PC from the Internet to ssh to the router.

The initramd image has a usable network which provides a DHCP server. Connect your PC to the router with an Ethernet cable and ssh to the router at 192.168.1.1. No password is needed. Then use scp to place the sysupgrade firmware in the /tmp directory on the router (/tmp is a read-write RAM disk). Execute the command sysupgrade /tmp/<filename> to flash the usable firmware. The router should then reboot into OpenWrt with a flash-based ubi filesystem and be ready to configure and use.

Here I was able to flash the sysupgrade and the error concerning the UBI no longer exists.
Unfortunately, the system always starts in the initramdisk.
None of the changes made are saved.
When I go on the LUCIGUI I see that the available space is 0%.
I think I'm touching the goal but I still need some help.
