So you are telling me that a device with an extremely low rssi, will try to send with a high datrate although its SNR is not appropriate? Further, it can decode those frames send with a high data rate?
What I think is that the CST will hopefully be adjusted with a higher data rate. And all frames will be noticed as noise. However, I have no idea if this is the case. I will measure that. Sorry, I have to see this myself. Maybe those devices are as dump as you saying.
Most of them using a newer wpa_supplicant wont try to do that, but there is a ton of various crap and not to mention IOT.
