How is filogic 820/830 supported by OpenWrt?

The official OpenWrt drivers for MediaTek SoC do not appear to include files for MT7981/6 (filogic 820/830). So, how routers such as the Redmi AX6000 are supported by OpenWrt. How the driver used by OpenWrt for filogic 820/830 differs from the one provided by the official MediaTek OpenWrt feeds. Specifically, does the OpenWrt driver support hardware acceleration like the official one? Were advanced features deliberately omitted by MediaTek developers in the open-source version of the driver, such as HNAT?

Actually, hardware NAT is supported on MediTek chips.

Does wireless support hardware NAT? I just tested my setup again, offloading for switch ports seems fine, but for wireless, the kernel still spent a lot of time in sys according to top.
