Hi, I have 4 mango dev kits which uses an older kernel of OpenWrt, but the principle should remain the same. The mango dev kits have 2 radios each, a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz and they support WDS AP and WDS Client.
If 1 devkit is connected to the internet via WAN, how do I relay the internet connection to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dev kit via WDS. I cannot seem to get it to work.
Could I use 1 radio to establish a "mesh link" and the other radio to connect to WiFi clients such as a smartphone?
Also, If I connect to a Home Router via 2.4GHz, can I create a 5Ghz hotspot with internet connectivity.
