I used a snapshot firmware on my EnGenius ESR1750 and something broke. I can access the router via serial but all the networks ports are dead. Any chance I can recover this router? Thanks.

If you’ve broken the config, the easiest fix is simply firstboot -y && reboot which will reset to defaults.

The snapshot firmware broken the switch, it seems.

Could also means a memory error.
At this point yes only solution seems TFTP, but I can't see any TFTP related message in the beginning of the log.

The switch breaking from a failed nvmem lookup is very strange though…

Does your wifi still initialise? There are ath10k messages in the log, so it might be possible.
If yes, then you could use that to connect to the ruoter and then to sysupgrade.

Are you sure to use the correct settings for the serial? First part of the log is jibberish, whereas it is clear after this line which may set serial settings.

I had myself weird experiences with serial links over the years. Sometimes the docs have errors.

You’re a genius!

I was able to enable the wifi, join to it, ping to the 192.168.1.1 address then upload the sysupgrade.bin with WinSCP and do a sysupgrade.

Typically the switch problems only affect wired connectivity, so WiFi may be available, like it proved to be in your case.
