How do I make a hotspot wifi client to use a different interface?

I am using coovachilli on openwrt running on RUT955.
I have a user get the captive portal pop up and use the 3g connection at this point. Then i auth the user with "chilli_query auth". Now i want to move the "Authed" users to use the LAN connection and not the 3g. Is this something that Chilli does or is this firewall or routing related. I need to move just a few users and not the whole hotspot to LAN.

Can this be done? Any ideas on command line?

Coova Chilli fails (Login page not showing up on Client device) to run on OpenWrt Snapshot

CoovaChilli has not been maintained for many years, since the original Coova Dev moved on (circa 2015), so it is very outdated, to the point it no longer works on OpenWrt snapshot (since maybe October 2022). Unless someone takes on proper development, it is very unlikely that it will be fixed. Someone may think up some hack to temporarily get it going again but that can only be a short lived work around.
