How can I block youtube.com but allow youtubekids.com

I would like to add parental controls using openwrt, how can I block youtube.com but allow youtubekids.com considering they heavily rely on each other.

how can I block a specific search query such as the word pasta

Block YouTube. The addresses are totally different.

Remember though that this solution wont block kids from using their mobiles connecting to YouTube via 4G, and so bypassing your router. A real parental control solution has to work client side, by installing an app on their devices, something like Qustodio or Kaspersky Safe Kids
