Hostnames on accesspoints?

Hi there!

I have 3 openwrt devices, one of them configured as a router and two more as access points.

I like how the landing page @ http://[openwrt-ip]/cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/wireless gives a overview of the network. On my router I can see ip-adresses and hostnames for all clients under the "Associated Stations" list.

But the access points often only know of the MAC address. Can I rectify this somehow and make it easier to see what clients are connected to the access point I'm currently looking at?

fping (will at least give you the IPs) or manually add the MACs + descriptions to /etc/ethers

/etc/ethers was exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
