system setup
I have openwrt router as Access Point. I'm trying to connect station to AP.

problem
2.4GHz
When I try to connect clients to the access point there is a connection issue, hostapd: wlan0: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: did not acknowledge authentication response. This happens multiple times before it get connected. Sometimes it is not even gets connected even the retry is more.

5GHz
With 5GHz it gets connected with out any problem.

Note:
When I have tried with atheros original development platform everything is fine. I have fabricated the atheros chip in PCB there happens the misbehavior. Does this issue may be something related to the RF parameters or hardware related issue.

Hello,

Welcome to OpenWrt forums. Probably you should add some extra stuff about you environment:

  • Hardware
  • OpenWrt version and build
  • Hw/Sw of the client
  • Logs (dmesg, logread, ...)
  • Any other relevant info

This will help developers to understand better what is happening and help you

yes, I have tried. But it does not make any difference.
