I just got a used HomeHub 5 Type A and while soldering the wires, I messed up a little (maybe a lot) and the R78 pad referring to RX got pulled off and then the resistor too. (I know my bad). Is there anything I can do to send commands to the serial? I am able to receive the output and can successfully start the CFG 04 mode but when it comes to sending code/commands I am not able to do anything. I think it was some kind of pull up resistor for serial access maybe.

Can someone provide any information?

I managed to get serial access with properly soldering the wires and checking out the wire diagrams on the board. Trying to install OpenWrt on it.
