High jitter on Openwrt One

I recently acquired an Openwrt One, and I've been plagued with very high jitter ever since I first installed it (>100ms). It doesn't matter if I'm right next to the router or in the other room, I consistently get high jitter scores (and low ping, sub 5ms). I experience the problem on connections between the router and wireless clients, as measured by librespeed-go. Ethernet connections to the router get a normal 0.2ms jitter.

I've tried enabling and disabling Hardware Flow Offloading and SQM to no avail. I did manage to improve my connection by increasing the wifi channel width to 80mhz, which helped my upload/download speeds, but didn't seem to do anything useful for my jitter.

I'm mainly looking for where to look next in my troubleshooting, as I've hit a dead end and can't think of anything else to check.

That is usually a side effect of too aggressive powersaving on the client side (hello Intel), did you already try disabling powersave on the client?

That absolutely solved my problem. Thank you.
