I've just acquired a FRITZBox 7360 v2 and am hoping to install OpenWrt on it, but before I do, I want to know if I will be able to restore the original firmware on it in the event of a balls up...
I note that there is a topic posted with a similar title
Restore FritzBox 7530 original firmware
but there is no followup.

AVM offers firmware recovery tools for windows.
https://download.avm.de/fritzbox/fritzbox-7360-v2/deutschland/recover/
There is also a kind of README file.

Many thanks. It looks like I will have to bite my tongue and find some Windows disk somewhere.. I really don't like doing that, but needs must.

A virtual machine with windows should be sufficient (probably even wine).
