Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my more time with this device. Something more capable can be purchased for fairly reasonable prices, especially if you look at wifi5 (802.11ac) based devices (new or used).

To elaborate further, your device has only 4MB flash and 32MB RAM. It has long been unsupported (all support for that configuration was deprecated after 19.07). Your device is simply too old. You need new hardware.

Finally, because this thread was necro'd after 3 years and the hardware in question hasn't been supported since 17.01.7 (from June 2019; approximately 6 years ago as of this post), I am going to close it.
